A junction

Today I feel, I reach a junction in my spiral journey inside. I am just pouring out my thoughts now unstructured.
  • I feel so grateful for all the souls who joined my journey for whatever time, some came for moments, some with their wisdom, some with guidance, some with pure intention and love. Gratitude to all. I do not wish to bring names.
  • Ok what is today? Today was my last wednesday(in plan) at Urban Ashram, people came and they came with their hearts, the pure hearts to share their genuine love. I could sense it. Thanks to all who came. I had so secretly hoped to see them once before I leave but had left it to universe with "जो होगा अच ही होगा" and all the people who I hoped to meet, and mind it ALL came. Rakesh bhai who came a little late, made it become ALL. Deep gratitude. What can a man really ask for? All we need is love, love is all we need. And I had plenty of it today.
  • And people came with gifts. Wow. And how many? Not few but all combined, it is one huge packet. I am still filled with awe. How can it happen? But when love is there, anything can happen. All sorts of gifts. Cadburies, books, cards, clothes, potpouris, kids books, magic books, showpieces, decoratives and MONEY!!! Wow!!! I just spread them all on the swing and watched them for sometime just feeling the energy.
  • But then a thought came, what do I do with all these? Answer:  Add some more stuff and pass all these on. :) So let it happen. Money came with a note: " . . . . . . .   Included herewith is a little token to kickstart the love movement at your next destination"  And mind it, the humble word "little note" just shows the huge heartedness of giver, the amount is in no way little. I'll keep the new clothes and pass some of my others, cadburies will definitely be passed on, books some will go after reading in library, some directly, cards will be with me for at least some days, potpouris will be passed on, kids and magic books to kids, showpieces and decoratives will also be passed on.
  • Wow! I can't believe it, one that so many people gifted me so many things, second Ashram made my scarcity with which I came so low and abundance so high, that the gifts have just become a medium to make me pass of happiness with love.
  • And guess what today's article was about love and that was what was flowing, all discussions, all seed questions for me answered through actions.
  • I want to write what I shared today because I want to relive it. :) "Love is when people come to Ashram for first time with trust because trust is among the first effects of love, love is when people put in so much hard work in soft skills and hard labour just to make people smile, when people share pure intention for welfare of others, when people leave their restaraunts open trusting the customer is a form of god and will put in the right money, when someone willingly offers lift to any person walking, love is when people arrange stalls and events to make people both know and unknown SMILE, love is when people open up their home for random unknown people with the pure intention that they get some peace in this world of hurry and worry and very clear unspoken but felt intention,"भला हो " of each and everyone coming and when all those people are just around you as they are, Love is always HERE and NOW. I was just seeing love in action once again today."
  • During cake time, I shared,"What I learnt here, was the impact of pure intention and love compared to the usual do this and don't do this, and how the earlier makes deep and long lasting impact"
  • A noble friend told, " We did not give anything but Divya and Harsh just did all these things" I was once shocked, Did not give ???? Maybe truly all that can be counted does not matter, but what was given maybe not countable, but does matter.
  • Truly I have a family and home here. No formality, no words also needed, the heart knows everything. :)

Trust Library

I would like to first list chronologically the important event.
  1. I went to a friend's place for the first time and saw more than 1 wardrobe full of books. I had a thought that noone can read so many books. And if you have read it once, you can't read them again.
  2. A friend voluntarily gave me a book and told that she loved the book and thinks I will also like. She told that she loved the book and would like to have it back after I have read it.
I read the book and actually liked it and had no trouble giving it back because I could empathize my friend's attachment.
  3. I attended "Awakin to Giftivism" retreat in December in which I met many rockstars. I had asked people which books should I read and had made a list. On the last day we received an envelope from a lady in US. I opened it at home and seeing 5000 rupees made my jaws drop for some time.
  4. Post evening meditation, a noble friend shared that we might start a library with the 5000 rupees.
So these were the background stories behind what conceptualized.
Now I had the following intentions:
  1. To make people loose their attachments with books while introducing the idea of " Pay it forward" (Now modified to "Pass it forward")
  2. To get the best books which people have read and got inspired by and share with others.
  3. To inculcate a habit of reading among the people who haven't started loving reading.
So the idea was formed that I'll keep record of who has which book and who gave which one and let books flow. Very soon I finished the 5000 and started investing my own money.

Learnings on the way:
  1. Everyone has their own dharma, some give and some receive. People need not do both.
  2. People are a bit afraid of picking a book on their own, but when given with assurance and lots of love, they all read the books and they all enjoy.
  3. I am just an instrument in the hands of divine. People just keep helping on the way.
  4. Some help monetarily(some even anonymously), some with books, some with more good books suggestion and almost all with love.
  5. The joy on people's faces when they receive a book is unexpressable.
  6. I realize that giving is much more than giving of possessions and more of ourselves.

Side Effect:
I liked the spreading of smiles through this Trust library so much that I thought(again pushed by the noble friend) to increase it. So I thought why not all places having an "Awakin" start a library at their place so they also enjoy the joy of sharing and reading. So I prepared packets(the same in which I was getting the books from online shopping, so reuse of plastic) of books which I offered as seed books.
The books included:
  1. Siddhartha by Herman Hesse
  2. Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach
  3. The little prince by Antoine De Saint Exupery
  4. Kabir by Jaya Madhavan
All these books had been read by me through the gifts by my noble friend only and I loved them a lot, so these were my list for starting library at other places. Apart from these four, I also shared "Opening Doors within" by Eileen Caddy with those people who conduct Awakin at their places, with the intention that their Awakins grow stronger and the holders of gathering through daily meditation and reading from the books become internally pure.

And effect of sharing them with Awakin groups at a "Moved by Love" retreat has also been phenomenal. All of the groups promised to start a library at their place once they go back.

Wow!!!
